When all the children of his age were studying in school, he used to work for the poor and needy people since his childhood. The life of the Rajib Sarkar has been changed after he met with Mother Tereza. In the Mother’s House at Moulali, Kolkata “Mother” is loved by all. Along with Sister Agnes, Sister Nirmala and ‘Mother’ he started serving the leprosy patients among the helpless people. No one could have known that Rajiv Sarkar’s mother was busy serving patients in hospitals all day, and his father was away for 12 years in different cities of India for serving the nation and for the Central Industrial Security Force, Rajib Sarkar devoted himself for the human service from that early age. He never caged himself self into the contemporary education system. While working with Mother Teresa, he once again had an incidental conversation with Shakti Chattopadhyay, the poet of West Bengal’s pride. The poet Shakti Chattopadhyay gradually brought him into the world of Bengali literature. Together, he started the Bengali literary magazine & ‘Kallolini Kolkata Sahitya Patrika’ along with the poet Shri Shakti Cattopadhyay. The Bengali literary magazine “Kallolini Kolkata Sahitya Patrika”; was latterly joined by many writers, including Sunil Gangopadhyay, Buddhadeb Guha, Annadashankar Roy, Mahasweta Devi, Sanjib Chattopadhyay, Shyamal Gangopadhyay, Ayan Rashid Khan (Deputy SP-CID), Syed Mustafa Siraj, Rabindra Sangeet artist Suchitra Mitra, Shirshendu Mukherjee. In 2005, on the occasion of the completion of 15 years of the Bengali literary magazine “Kallolini Kolkata Sahitya Patrika”, the then Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee sent a letter in writing. At the same time, Rajib Sarkar continued his social work, be with the helpless people or to educate the poor students. To provide coaching classes to the children living on the streets and railway stations his fight against the illegal drugs continues.

Even today he is working for the literacy and upliftment from the evil clutches of drug addiction of the children living along with the railway station and beside the rail tracks, and for the street children and for eradicating the drug smuggling. For the first time The Rajib Sarkar appeared for the secondary examination in the year 1996.

The Rajib Sarkar started working as an insurance agent in 2002. Along with that, he continued to work with literary magazines, Bengali literature and social service, human service. In 2011, he founded his own social service organization, INDIA’s SMILE.

All his social work started in the name of INDIA’s SMILE, organization. He has worked both nationally and internationally. He has always been supported by his parents and other members of the community. Even the police and administration of West Bengal were in support with him.

In 2013, when a Muslim girl was forced to undergo for abortions thrice, the Rajib Sarkar started his operation against the action of the police department where some of the then top officials of the police department tried to victimize the then ACP Santi Das and due to his relentless and constant effort, the victim Muslim girl and Mrs. Santi Das former ACP of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate was rescued from the evil clutches of the police department itself. Since this incident, he continued to help the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate in many ways for the enforcement of law and order among the society. While one of the accused escaped from Bangladesh probably, in the year 2014, as per the orders of the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, he started working against the crime syndicates one after another.

As per the orders of the Police Commissioner of Bidhan Nagar Police Commissionerate, the fight started under the leadership of the then ACP-Airport Zone-2 Arka Banerjee. The first step taken by the Rajib Sarkar was to take down the activities of various criminal gangs, including Children & Women Trafficking, in the name and style as : “Operation ‘Dance Bar’. The first raid was conducted in the dance bar namely ‘Bay Watch’ under Bidhan Nagar Police Commissionerate. After this raid, the threat of murder started to cropped up against the Rajib Sarkar and Mr. Arka Banerjee, former ACP-Airport Zone-2. But ACP-Airport Zone-2 Arka Banerjee convinced the then Commissioner of Police Rajiv Kumar (who is now the D.G.P. of West Bengal Police) to start the raids one after the other at a stormy speed.

All those days will be written in golden letters in the history of Bidhan Nagar Police Commissionerate, which is equivalent to history itself. With the concurrent association of the then Chief of Intelligence Department Kankar Prasad Barui – IPS, ACP – Airport Zone -2” Arka Banerjee and the then IC of Baguihati Police Station Sukamal Kanti Das along with the Rajib Sarkar and Bidhan Nagar Police Commissionerate, including Baguiati, came under the Crime Rate 01. That’s incredible. In 2015, the Rajib Sarkar was attacked by various criminals a little away from his residence but somehow, he escaped from death. In 2015, during the ensuing election some of the Police Officials held a meeting late at night on 25/12/2015 to set up a fake encounter of the Rajib Sarkar. But it was leaked.

After learning about the conspiracy, the then Intelligence Chief Kankar Prasad Barui – IPS, the then Commissioner of Police, put a 24-hour police picket in front of the residence of Rajib Sarkar and at the same time, according to the secret plan the Rajib Sarkar was appointed in the company of Bar King of West Bengal Jagjit Singh, the king of the Bar Empire. The Rajib Sarkar used to work as an “UNDER COVER AGENT”; to unearth the truth about various crimes. He was injured again in 2016 while the attackers broke his right hand. Since 2016, there has been rampant corruption in all the sectors in West Bengal.

On 7 June 2016, as soon as Gyanwant Singh, IPS joined the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate as Commissioner and the Rajib Sarkar resigned from INDIA’s SMILE. In this regard, the Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, Gyanwant Singh-IPS was informed that RAJIB SARKAR was Resigning from INDIA’s SMILE,  in writing on 09 / 07 / 2016 (As per Official Receiving Letter). A written complaint was also lodged to the police in this regard. In June 2017, the then One Top Level I.P.S and his team conspired and arrested the Rajib Sarkar under false charges and ensured his judicial custody for the 16 months. In February 2016, the then Commissioner of Police Javed Shamim-IPS and Intelligence Chief Kankar Prasad Barui-IPS and His Secret Team had appointed the Rajib Sarkar secretly to work in Downtown Group of Companies with a secret plan to eradicate crime from West Bengal. During his entire confinement he was motivatedly kept with the notorious criminal and along with their ward of Dum Dum Correctional Home in Kolkata for the first six months.

Inside the ill-famed ‘PATA-WARD’ of the Dum Dum correctional home the Rajib Sarkar was forcefully kept along with 180 hard-core notorious guzzlers of West Bengal by the order of the top officials of the Police department where heroin, ganja, tablets of various psychotropic drugs were consumed for 24 hours by the said guzzlers. The Rajib Sarkar never smoked a cigarette till now and a person who has been fighting against drugs throughout his life, was tortured inside the Correctional Home by an unknown High Power Persons and in this situation, which is practically impossible to express in words he had been forced to remain alive. Despite enlarging on bail from the court, as per the request of the police, once again by the order of the Honourable Court, the RAJIB SARKAR / RAJEEV SARKAR had to remain under house arrest in a village 170 kilometres away from his residence for about another 17 months in solitary confinement alone and precluded from his aged and ailing parents.

The RAJIB SARKAR / RAJEEV SARKAR was unable to support his ailing parents at home. In 2022, both of his parents were forced to spend their few last days of their life under intense mental agony and they were emotionally shattered to see the extreme consequences of their son’s life in captivity while on their bedridden condition. At the same time, the parents of the Rajib Sarkar failed to treat themselves after wasting money on the litigations to provide him proper justice against the false allegations levelled against him and ultimately, they breathed for the last without getting proper treatment and the RAJIB SARKAR / RAJEEV SARKAR being the most unfortunate son of his parents failed to remain by the side of them during their extreme mental agony. The RAJIB SARKAR / RAJEEV SARKAR tried his level best to save my parents by begging before various people on the street and society, but failed to save the life of his parents. After the death of his parents, he did not get any job anywhere due to the criminal record. The Rajib Sarkar has no money to startup new business. On the other hand, no one has provided him with a little space in the society as the politically influential people involved in the corruption has secretly instructed everyone to not to allow him to do anything for his survival. A large section of the police and politicians wanted the Rajib Sarkar to either commit suicide or to surrender before them and accept his failure. At present, the Rajib Sarkar has nothing and is in a vagrant condition and jobless.

Currently the Rajib Sarkar is suffering with “Prostate Critical Disease with Urinary tract Infections”. Even after sitting at home waiting for the possible death, the RAJIB SARKAR / RAJEEV SARKAR is working relentlessly for the betterment of the society and the country. The Rajib Sarkar is continuing the social work, including fighting against corruption, against crime, against illegal drugs to save the future of upcoming generations, against land mafia, against illegal promoting, and to save women and children.
